Sunday School @ 11:00: Service will include grade leveled curriculum for groups of students Pre-K through 6th grade. Age appropriate curriculum will focus in on student’s needs to learn about God and learn how to live for Him.
About our Sunday programs: We strive to provide a safe, educational, Bible-based, and dynamic experience for all of the children that God brings to our church. Our children's programs feature stellar curriculum from Group Publishing, caring teachers who are trained and reference-checked, skits, worship music, opportunities for kids to serve in ministry, hands-on learning, fun crafts, yummy snacks, and more. We'd love for you to come visit us!:
Check in Policies: Check in for Infants and Toddlers as well as Pre-K through 6th grade students will be available at two different check in locations on the 1st floor of the Education Building (directly adjacent to the main sanctuary). Please sign in and sign out your child and our greeters will provide you with any detailed instructions. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
Snacks: Snacks and drinks are provided in each classroom (with the exception of the infant nursery). Toddlers are only given easily chewable snacks such as dry cereal, goldfish and pretzels. Please inform your child’s teacher or the children’s director if he or she has any allergies or food restrictions. If you send your child with his or her own snack, please - no peanut products as we have students with severe peanut allergies.
Health & Crying Policy: In our best effort to provide a happy, healthy and safe environment for children and volunteers, we cannot check a child into class if he or she has any one of these contagious symptoms: fever over 99 degrees, green mucous from the nose, cough/congestion/sneezing (unless due to allergies), inflamed eye, pink eye, matter on the eye, diarrhea, vomiting, yeast diaper rash or any other infectious skin rash. If your child displays one of these symptoms and you have reason to believe he or she is not contagious, please speak with the children's director. If a child is being treated with antibiotics, he/she should be on the medication for at least 24 hours before entering the classroom.
Teachers will make every effort to console and soothe crying children. If a child is inconsolable (non-stop crying) for 15 minutes, parents will be asked to come and either stay with their child until calm or take the child.
Interested in Volunteering? Members of Brea Baptist are welcome to apply to volunteer within children’s ministries. All volunteers will complete an application and training process, and will team with at least one other volunteer during scheduled shifts. Please see the Impact Kids Director Jackie Bonkoski (email@example.com) for an application and volunteer handbook.
